KxM Research to Impact

UBC recognizes its responsibility to make academic knowledge more accessible, understandable and actionable, and strives to use research to drive positive change by: exchanging ideas and knowledge beyond academia; establishing research collaborations with external partners; and engaging and communicating publicly.

Our Knowledge Exchange and Mobilization (KxM) Research to Impact training program supports this goal by empowering UBC researchers and scholars to transform academic knowledge into actionable solutions that address real-world challenges. By fostering essential skills in KxM, the program prepares participants to create meaningful impact through research. Combining foundational concepts, practical training and collaboration with community partners, we support career development across diverse sectors, while advancing efforts to make research accessible, equitable and impactful.
