The UBC Knowledge Exchange and SFU Knowledge Mobilization units, in partnership with UBC Health and Genome BC, are excited to announce the second cohort of the SFU-UBC Implementation Science Training Initiative. This program is designed to strengthen British Columbia's research capacity in implementation science by enhancing grant funding opportunities for BC-based researchers and expanding the province's network of implementation scientists.
Building on the success of the inaugural cohort - comprising of researchers from Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia across diverse health research fields - the second cohort introduces two new streams: the Genomics Stream, supported by Genome BC, and the Primary Team-Based Care Stream, supported by UBC Health. These additions reflect a growing commitment to addressing critical challenges in genomics and primary care through implementation science.
We look forward to welcoming a new group of scholars committed to driving impactful change in health research and practice across BC.
