UBC Advanced Research Computing (ARC) is an institutionally dedicated service for researchers across all disciplines working on questions that have large data and computational needs.

We support reciprocal relationships between staff, students & faculty at UBC’s Vancouver campus and local community partners to advance equity and justice. Our CE Helpdesk is a great first stop for community organizations looking to connect with UBC.

The PHH mission is to incubate, collaborate, communicate, and advocate for publicly-engaged work in the humanities.

The Office of Research, Faculty of Arts, supports faculty and postdocs throughout the research development cycle, from early-stage consultations about research plans through navigating post-award queries.

We provide an interface for communities that approach UBC with research needs and to build, maintain and strengthen long-term research relationships with Indigenous communities and UBC.

We give faculty members a competitive advantage by supporting funding proposals with strategic professional services and resources.

Mitacs applications include three parties: faculty, graduate students, and partner organizations. We help bring those groups together to define a project and apply for funding. Mitacs funds are non-competitive and available to all disciplines and sectors. 

We empower UBC students and others from UBC and the public through training and participation in a wide range of media services, from visual design to radio and podcasting.

The Centre for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) connects communities with UBC faculty and students to work on issues that impact society today.

Students, faculty, staff and community members alike, can access UBC Library’s electronic resources, including more than 2.4 million e-books and 370,000 journals, through the Innovation Library downtown Kelowna.

The UBC Learning Exchange is a a non-traditional academic space in the Downtown Eastside to connect people—local residents, UBC students and faculty, and community organizations—and share knowledge created in the university and community.

UBC Studios provides UBC Faculty, Students and Staff, tools and knowledge to create viable, engaging digital media content for research, communications and education.

The UBC Knowledge Exchange Unit builds capacity among researchers, students and staff across disciplines to develop and share impactful knowledge with communities, government, not-for-profit organizations and the general public.

We are a multidisciplinary hub supporting research endeavours, partnerships, and education. We are a community space that embraces both new and traditional exploratory scholarship and provides services and expertise for the advancement of research.

We collaborate with researchers to understand their research, goals and priorities; develop strategies to maximize the impact of UBC research; and build lasting relationships with industry and other technology receptors. 

With the recent creation of the Public Humanities Hub Okanagan there could be options for information sharing, workshops etc. We have a CFI funded lad, the AMP Lab, there could be potential collaborations happening there as well.
